Nerja values at La Rosaleda

CEIP San Miguel in Nerja was the star of ‘Blue and White Values’ last Thursday at La Rosaleda Stadium.

After kicking-off the 21/22 season last week with CPR Almazara, this time it was the turn of the students from San Miguel School (Nerja) who visited the Blue and White stadium to enjoy a day of Blue and White Values.

First of all, they attended Málaga CF’s morning training session at La Rosaleda. They then enjoyed the Museum&Tour and then headed to the ‘Juan Cortés’ press room to receive a talk on Malaguista values.

With Basti as master of ceremonies, David Lombán, Encarni and Rafa represented the male and female teams as well as Málaga Genuine. The Asturian player said “a large part of the person I am is thanks to football,” while the player from Villanueva del Rosario talked to the children about part of their eating routine: “It’s important to have a good breakfast, eat fruit, a lunch with carbohydrates, nuts for a snack and at night I like a salad or an omelette.”

There was the traditional question and answer session where the students turned into journalists, signed autographs and shirts followed by the commemorative poster to celebrate the visit and a family photo with everyone was presented to the school.

The MCF Foundation, in collaboration with ‘Fundación la Caixa’ and CaixaBank are pleased to resume a campaign that continues to promote healthy habits in schools in Málaga and the province for the eighth consecutive year.
