More than 7,000 children from sports clubs in the province and schools collaborating with Blue and White Values enjoyed a truly vibrant #MálagaLasPalmas, with a great show on the pitch and in the stands.
Saturday’s match on World Children’s Day was certainly one for the fans. Firstly, for the excitement on the pitch and the subsequent victory. Like a good suspense film, there was excitement until the last second with the superb goal. Yet the reason why any first-timer inevitably converted to Malaguismo on Saturday was the great atmosphere in the stands.
More than 22,000 people, amongst them 7,000 boys and girls made the ideal atmosphere for such an important victory. For many of these children this was their first time at La Rosaleda. The energy - from 90 clubs throughout the province and schools within the Blue and White Values campaign (MCF Foundation) - from these kids and their families was key in tipping the balance in our favour. The players and coach who appeared in the mixed zone after the game (coach, José Alberto, Juande, Sekou and Antoñín) showed their gratitude for all the unconditional support.
After 80 minutes, with the scoreboard all square at 1-1, La Rosaleda pushed the team on to score the winning goal.
