Nelson Monte: “It was a tough match, but we have to focus on the next one”
The Malaguista defender held a press conference after the 1-0 defeat to Eldense. “La Rosaleda has given us a lot this season, and it will keep giving,” he said.
Tough development
“It was a complicated match. We were down to 10 men almost from the start. We came in with the mindset to win, but things got difficult right away. I'm proud of the team, we gave everything out on the pitch. We couldn’t get the win, but next week we’re going all out to beat Sporting at home.”
Einar’s expulsion
“I wasn’t close. It was a throw-in, and I was in Eldense’s box, so I saw it from a bit far away. I haven’t watched it back on television yet.”
Here’s to next Saturday
“We’re going all out to beat Sporting and finally secure our place once and for all.”
Focus on the next match
“It was a bit difficult because we played the whole match with one man down. The feeling is that if it had been eleven against eleven, we would’ve come away with something. Even with the extra man, they didn’t cause us too much damage. We were solid defensively. It was a tough game, and that’s it, now it’s time to focus on the next one.”
All together
“Keep trusting in us. La Rosaleda has given us a lot this year, and it will keep giving. We count on our fans on Saturday to secure our place.”
