Difficulties

“The pitch has smaller dimensions than others. We know we’ll find numerous split plays, strategy, we’ll have to mark the rival well… There’ll be a lot of split passes, many second plays, goal-shooting options… The lads must pay attention and ensure they’re well placed to pick up on those second plays so as to generate more attacking opportunities. We’ll need to play together, stay balanced and adapt to what the match will demand of us. It’s important we make good decisions to try and focus play more in the rival half than ours”.

Fans

“The utmost respect and gratitude to the fans. They are behind the team every day and we have a responsibility to them. In every game we’ll give everything we’ve got until the last drop of sweat. There will be matches in which we’ll be more fortunate than in others, but there is never any doubt that the players will give their all on the pitch. Hopefully our fans will be satisfied with the work of their team. If we are happy with our performance and have scored the points, then all the better”.
