“The result wasn’t good. We started well until the 15th minute when we lost control of play. They took advantage and scored the goal, yet when we had a chance we didn’t score. They managed to convert, but when we deserved it, we didn’t”.
Away games
“The players give everything they’ve got on the pitch, and today they kept insisting until the final second. It’s true that away from home we’re not scoring many points, which is something we have to correct to aspire to better things, but this is the Second Division. This category forces you to win matches at home in order to stay in the top part of the table. Extremadura made the most of their moment and we have to keep looking forward, there’s a long way to go yet and we mustn’t despair”.
Work, patience and mistakes
“What you compute are the matches you play overall. The category requires hard work, patience and the ability to rectify errors. We’ll continue to try and improve our stats away from home. We’re in the top zone of the standings, there’s great equality, and seeing how tough this division is and as achieving what we did at the start wasn’t easy, we now value it more. We’ll try our best to fix the mistakes in away games to boost the number of points we bring back home”.
