Fight until the end

“The match threw up every possible situation that could have happened. We deserved to go in front, we had opportunities to take the lead and then found ourselves trailing behind in a tough position. The team showed pride and the fans pushed until the end. We must thank them for the massive support they gave the team for the 90 minutes. They gave us the boost to fight for the result until the last second. I believe we deserved the result, we were generating chances and working well. Faced with a difficult situation, we knew how to raise our game and make the most of the last play in the final seconds”.

Bittersweet point

“Overall, the result falls a little short. I think the team deserved a bit more, we had chances for something more and we found that, in one of the few attacking actions or shots at goal, the home side scored. Although the point doesn’t seem much, it means a lot as we achieved it in the final second. Therefore, you leave with a bittersweet feeling about the situation”.

Eternally grateful to the fans

“I thought the fans’ support was great, we should be eternally grateful to them. From here until the end of the season we’ll need them like we did today, in order for the team to feel totally supported and able to reach the final second of play with chances to score goals. I also like the pride the team displayed”.
