“We should value the point, the team believed until the end”

Defender Luis Hernández appeared in the mixed zone at the Nuevo Arcángel following the draw with Córdoba CF: “We had the intention of dedicating victory to all the fans who, once again, were with us all the way”.

Working until the end

“We had the intention of scoring the three points, returning to winning ways and, above all, dedicating victory to all the fans who, once again, were with us all the way. We were trailing behind in the second half and the team made an immense effort, believed we could achieve something positive until the end, so the point should be viewed as such, particularly the way in which it was won”.

Back after injury

“I’ve been out for four very long months, and would like to thank the entire medical team, the coach and his team, my teammates and, above all, my family who have accompanied me through all the suffering. I’m happy to be back and helping the team, but it would have been better with the three points”.

Good point

“Generally speaking, the team played a good game. We dominated in the first half and the second. We were able to generate many more opportunities, we had numerous shots. It’s true that in the final metres that last shot cost us, that goal pass to put us in the lead. Other days we’ve done it, but it wasn’t to be today. The team had to come back from an adverse score, so we value the point obtained as good as the match was. Hopefully we’ll do better to take all three points in the next game”.

Difficult match

“Talking of the competitiveness of the competition, we knew we were coming to a very tough ground, with a rival impacted by the change of coach, this is always a plus, yet we knew it would be a difficult game. Overall, I believe the team played a good game, we gave our all on the pitch. We didn’t manage to go in front, which we usually do. The rival converted practically the only chance they had”.

Proud of the team

“There’s always a degree of anger when we don’t score all three points. Yet, what is clear is that there’s a feeling of pride within the team for how we fought, how we came back, and Córdoba played a very good match, defended very well, very intense. We value the point as good and will keep moving forward, there’s a long way to go yet and we hope to continue going hand in hand with the fans who, again, were impressive today”.

Málaga - Osasuna

“A very nice match that we all like to play. We’ve got a long week to prepare well and hopefully we’ll feel the fans’ support as we did at home last week, and today here in Córdoba. I’m sure it will be much easier for us to score the three points”.

Consistency is key

“We’re being highly consistent, which is what keeps us believing in the team. We must also value the run of eight games without defeat in such a difficult category as this one. That’s what is keeping the team in the top part of the table, where we’ll be until the end”.
