In a weekend of few games due to 'Semana Blanca', the Juvenil DH won both their matches, whilst the reserve team boys were defeated by the second-place team.
Atlético Malagueño
Manolo Sanlúcar’s team fought against all odds to score points against UCAM Murcia CF, but the football was cruel and didn’t grant the boys anything. The Blue and White reserve team, who was a player down from minute 28 as Ian Soler was sent off, didn’t notice the numerical disadvantage as the match developed, and had various opportunities to take the lead. However, bad luck in the final metres prevented Atlético Malagueño from reaping the reward of a goal. However, the visitors scored in 87’, and again in stoppage time with another two goals, against a committed and exhausted reserve team.
Juvenil DH
Francis Bravo’s team had two matches over the weekend, both against rivals in the lower part of the table. On Thursday, Málaga CF’s Juvenil ‘A’ travelled to the province of Almería to face UCD La Cañada, coming away with three points thanks to a goal from Julio. On Sunday, the Blue and Whites took part in a provincial derby against Tiro Pichón, enjoying a 4-1 win with goals from Benítez, Julio, Castillo and Ramón
