More strategy training at the Annexe
The team returned to training for the third session of the week at La Rosaleda’s facilities. Luis Muñoz, for the second consecutive day, was integrated into the group at a good pace.
Following the usual warm-up and initial rounds, Sergio Pellicer’s men focused on technical-tactical work with the ball and strategy training for an hour and a half at the Annexe.
Like yesterday, 15 professional players were under the coach’s orders today, as well as 11 homegrown players consisting of Strindholm (new), Benítez, Ismael, Andrés, Cristo, Quintana, Mini, Haitam, Larrubia, Julio and Loren.
Working with physical trainer Manu Gestoso, Iván Calero trained on the pitch first thing. Mejías, Jozabed, Benkhemassa and Hicham alternated between running and specific work on the pitch. Chavarría remained in the gym whilst Ramón is awaiting surgery this afternoon in Madrid.
Tomorrow, Friday at 17:00, Pellicer will hold a remote press conference at the Club’s ‘Juan Cortés’ press room. Then at 18:00 training will get underway at La Rosaleda.
