MCFF get ready for Cup debut

Málaga CF Femenino will be in action tomorrow against Granada CF at 20:30 in Rincón de la Victoria, in the first Copa de la Reina clash of 22/23.

The Blue and Whites kicked off the season with a 2-1 win at home last Sunday, in Grupo Sur of the Segunda Federación, against the Valencia CF Femenino reserve team, with goals from Carmen Gómez and Cadete, Carla Aguilar.

Following a recovery session yesterday, Nacho Pérez’s girls returned to training today at their home ground for this season, the Francisco Romero municipal ground in Rincón de la Victoria.

Tomorrow, Wednesday from 20:30, the Malaguistas will host Granada CF in the first round clash – single match – of the Copa de la Reina.

The team will be in training on Thursday and Friday, then head to the Canary Islands on Saturday for the second league game of the season on Sunday (11:00, Arguineguín). The rival, CD Femarguín, an old acquaintance of Málaga Femenino, which holds some great memories, with the girls winning their last First Division promotion against this side, on 27th May 2018.
