MCF Camp at Easter

The MCF Camp over Easter, organised by the Club’s Foundation and sponsored by Diputación Provincial de Málaga, will be held in Rincón de la Victoria, Coín and Cuevas Bajas from 10th to 13th April.

Another MCF Camp is presented at La Rosaleda. Since 2011 this has been a regular fixture in the Foundation’s calendar, and has enjoyed ongoing growth, reaching all parts of the province since 2014. This Easter, from 10th to 13th April, the Camp will be held in Rincón de la Victoria, Coín and Cuevas Bajas, sponsored by Diputación Provincial de Málaga.

The Camp was presented this Thursday on the pitch at La Rosaleda. The event was attended by the Deputy for Sport, Cristóbal Ortega, as well as Francisco Santos, Mayor of Coín; Manuel Lara, Mayor of Cuevas Bajas; and Antonio José Martín, Councillor for Sport in Rincón de la Victoria. In addition, they were accompanied by representatives from the Malaguista Club. José María Muñoz, judicial administrator, together with MCF Foundation coordinator, Lucas Rodríguez and Sebastián Fernández 'Basti' from the Social Department.

They were all joined by Malaguista players Kevin, Chavarría and Javi Jiménez, featured on the promotional poster for this event.

For Cristóbal Ortega, Deputy for Sport, Malaguismo reaching all areas of the province is very positive. “The Diputación de Málaga is launching this wonderful initiative in collaboration with Málaga CF to take Malaguismo throughout the province. It’s essential to continue increasing the fan base, support the team and give the push that it needs. The Camp has been around for many years and this time around has the sponsorship of ‘Sabor a Málaga’”, he stated.

Manuel Lara, Mayor of Cuevas Bajas; Francisco Santos, Mayor of Coín; and Antonio José Martín, Councillor for Sport in Rincón de la Victoria, stressed that this “is an initiative that allows young people to feel the passion for the Club.”

Lucas Rodríguez, MCF Foundation coordinator, wanted to thank the Diputación for its involvement in the Club and for promoting Malaguismo throughout the province. “We always feel the support of the Diputación de Málaga, it’s an honour to work alongside them. We’re delighted that our young Malagueños and Malaguistas are establishing themselves through the Camp, they are the future of the fans. This is a Camp of Malaguismo, of values, and will feature coaches from The Academy who will help the participants learn more about football,” he said.

An educational and fun-packed football event, steeped in Blue and White Values, which will be taking place from Sunday 10th April when the Easter Camp will kick off simultaneously in Rincón de la Victoria, Coín and Cuevas Bajas, until Wednesday 13th at La Rosaleda, when the camp mates will watch the first team in training followed by the presentation of the diplomas in the ‘Juan Cortés’ press room.

Registration is open from now until 10th April, for boys and girls from the age of 6 to 16 to join up and learn from coaches from The Academy and MCF School.

There are three ways to register for the MCF’s Easter Camp: by calling 951139389; sending an email to campus@malagacf.es; or contacting the sports departments of Rincón de la Victoria, Coín and Cuevas Bajas directly.
