The MCF Summer Camp 2023 was presented this Tuesday morning at La Rosaleda Stadium. Casares, Málaga capital and Rincón de la Victoria will be the venues for the summer camps organised by the MCF Foundation, which have been taking place since 2011.
From 26th June until 22nd July, four weekly camps will be held, during which Blue and White Values will be promoted, and the camps supervised and coordinated by The MCF Academy.
The presentation was attended by Lucas Rodríguez, coordinator of the MCF Foundation; Sebastián Fernández Reyes 'Basti', from the Foundation’s Social Department; as well as representatives of the three venues: the Councillor for Sport in Rincón de la Victoria, Antonio José Martín, his counterpart in the Casares Town Hall, Nicolás Morales; and the Federación Malagueña de Fútbol. In addition, player Álex Calvo, who is undergoing specific tasks at La Rosaleda, was present and posed for the usual group photo.
“We’re delighted to be at the MCF Camp for the second time this year. Rincón de la Victoria and Málaga have been united for many years. We have great fans and players who play for Málaga CF. We want to continue promoting grassroots football and, of course, hand in hand with Málaga. We have to be more united than ever,” said Antonio José Martín.
Whereas Nicolás Morales stated that he’s “very happy to be able to celebrate this union. The camp has been really well received. In just a week we have filled the registration quota. There is a great deal of Malaguismo. There are Málaga members who travel every fortnight to watch the matches,” he said to the MCFTV cameras.
Following the MCF Semana Blanca Camps held in Alozaina, Frigiliana and Manilva, and the Easter Camps in Benahavís, Cuevas Baja and Torrox, between June and July, Casares, Málaga and Rincón de la Victoria complete the line-up of Málaga CF camps.
Despite the increase in the number of places, Casares is full. From 26th to 30th June, between 09:00 and 14:00, the first shift will take place at the Campo Municipal 1º de Mayo facilities.
Málaga
This is a special one, the second week of the MCF Camp. From 3rd to 7th July, the Camp will take place between 09:00 and 14:00, at the Federación Malagueña de Fútbol ground.
It will involve a recruitment draft in which there will be representatives from The Academy and in which an individual report of the player will be made. As an exception, those between 10 and 17 years old may participate.
Prices: €200 general public and €180 for Malaguista season ticket holders, MCF School students and player scholarships.
Rincón de la Victoria
The third Camp will be held between 10th and 14th July; and the fourth from 18th to 22nd July. Both will take place from 9.00 until 14:00 at BeOne Fitness & Sport.
Prices: €125 general public and €113 for Malaguista season ticket holders, MCF School students and player scholarships. For both weeks the prices are as follows: €210 general public and €189 for Malaguista season ticket holders, MCF School students and player scholarships.
