Defeat for Malagueño in yesterday’s intense provincial derby in Antequera, whilst the Juvenil ‘A’ debuted with a huge away win. In 7-a-side football, there were clear victories in the league debuts of the Alevines and Benjamines.

Funes and Bravo’s team lost the first away match of the season against Antequera CF at El Maulí. A goal from Sergio García for the locals (1-0, 55’) decided the game. The expulsions of Mini - in the above image, photo archive – (58’) and Eu (62’) left the reserve team with a two-player disadvantage in the final 30 minutes of play.

The Malaguistas are also away from home in the next match, which will see Malagueño up against Estepona, who lost yesterday in El Palo by 2-0.

Juvenil DH

An unbeatable debut in Group IV (Subgroup ‘A’) of División de Honor for Nacho and Juanma’s team. An 0-8 win against Dos Hermanas San Andrés with an indisputable protagonist: Loren Zúñiga, who scored four goals. Sergio, Roberto (2) and Haitam also scored. With a goal average of +8, Málaga CF are the first leaders of the competition.
