Back to training at the Annexe

After a day of rest yesterday, Málaga CF returned to training this Tuesday morning at La Rosaleda’s Annexe. Reserve team player, Juan Cruz was the main new addition to the group, now physically fit.

The players stepped on to the pitch around 10:30. To kick off, Pellicer held a team talk and then training focused on rounds in groups, technical work with the ball and mini-matches on a reduced-sized pitch for the majority of the team, whilst the starting players against Mirandés underwent stretching exercises under the supervision of trainer, Enrique Ruiz in the second half of the session.

In terms of names, the positive news of the day involved Juan Cruz. The homegrown winger, having recovered from his physical problems, was in training under the coach’s orders. Also in action today were reserve team goalkeeper Gonzalo, as well as Ramón, Benítez, Cristo, Julio, Quintana and juvenil player, Larrubia.

Out of the team dynamic, in training at the gym as they continue with their respective recoveries were Joaquín Muñoz, Ismael Casas and Hicham Boussefiane.

Tomorrow, Wednesday at 10:30, the second session of the week will get underway at La Rosaleda Stadium’s facilities.
