The provincial derby didn’t bring anything positive for the Blue and Whites’ reserve team at the weekend. Manolo Sanlúcar’s boys again had a penalty against them, the third in two games, but this time Samu Casado wasn’t able to save the shot from the 11-metre mark. Despite trailing on the scoreboard, the Blue and Whites didn’t lose face at any point during play and sought out an equaliser until the end. Rubén had the best chance for the locals in the closing stages, but Montero’s solitary goal led Marbella to victory.

The Malaguista Juvenil División de Honor have accumulated a run of six matches without defeat, although this time they didn’t manage the fourth win on the bounce. Francis Bravo’s players were away to Séneca CF on Saturday afternoon, where they clinched a 1-1 draw thanks to a goal from Quintana.
