MCF Academy match results

Malagueño’s victory in the derby against Alhaurín de la Torre, and the win in Sevilla for the Juvenil 'A' with a hat trick from Issa Fomba, were the standout results from the weekend for the youth teams.

The reserve team, directed by Manolo Sánchez, enjoyed an exciting home win against Antonio Montero 'Nene'’s Alhaurín de la Torre. Following a goalless first half, Julio (1-0, 52') and Iván Jaime (2-0, 78') put the Malaguistas in front. Pony, from the penalty spot, narrowed the gap (2-1, 81'). Hugo scored the third goal for the locals (3-1, 85') while Sarmiento netted a second goal for the visitors to keep the tension up until the end (3-2, 87').  Promising Blue and White midfielder, Marcus Rowley made his season debut in the second half.

The start of the second round of the competition with three points for Malagueño, who remain in the top part of the table with 31 points from 20 games. Malagueño are away to Atlético de Porcuna CF in their next match.
