Pellicer: “It’s time to think about tomorrow’s match”

The Blue and White coach attended to the media at La Rosaleda in the run-up to #MálagaPonferradina. “I want to convey a sense of calm and focus everything on the 90 minutes” he stated.

United group

“We are trying to convey a sense of calm. I have found a very united group that knows the responsibility it has. We are dedicating ourselves to only thinking about football”.

Just football

“It’s time to think about Tuesday’s match, a time for uniting, not dividing. We must stay focused. A rival is coming here and the more we talk about things not associated with football, the higher the chance of us losing the next game. It’s time to stick together, think as a team and focus on this beautiful game. This is what I want to convey to the players, to stay focused, maintain the right attitude and transmit positivity, whilst always concentrating on the ball”.

Man of the Club

“I’ve been here for six years and I’m a man of the Club. It’s not about individualising, this is the law of football and we need to assume it naturally. We must talk about Tuesday’s game, which is very important. We need to improve the present as what happens in the future is good for everyone. In the end, results are what counts”.

Calm and natural

“I have no problem, I assume the role naturally. I want to convey a sense of calm and these press conferences are another match. We have a clear idea of winning the three points, knowing the fans are behind the team. We’ll give our all during the 90 minutes. The healthiest part of football is the players, and you have to keep them away from everything”.

Ponferradina

“We have a sketch we’ve been working on over the past few days which we think is the best way to approach the match against Ponferradina”.
