Mathijsen, Apoño and Duda return to the group; Baptista, will have difficulties to play against Madrid
Málaga CF trained this Wednesday morning for an hour and 45 minutes in the Ciudad de Málaga stadium. Pellegrini’s men alternated between physical and ball exercises in a higher intensity session for this second half of the week.
The big news is the return to the group of Mathijsen, Apoño and Duda who, like Weligton yesterday, are back training normally with their teammates. On the downside is that Julio Baptista continues his recuperation exercises in the gym and his participation in Saturday’s league match against Real Madrid is looking difficult. The Brazilian striker is recovering from and inflammation in the metatarsophalangeal joint in this right foot. Tomorrow, Thursday, at 10.30 a.m, Málaga return to train at the Ciudad de Málaga stadium.
