The second instalment of Malaguista Christmas stories, which brings together, along with Manolo and Basti, the much-loved Abdullah Ben Barek.
The Club adviser, legendary former player and coach of CD Málaga, gave Basti his debut with the first team at 16 years of age.
‘Súper Basti’ recalls the era in which the Club climbed the ladder from the Third to the First Division, reaching Europe, with the eternal slogan: “From Adra to Athens”.
Gaspar remembers the 2009/10 campaign, in which MCF achieved permanency in the elite in the last breath, spurred on by the incredible fans.
