Prize for the best Malaguista fancy dress at San Silvestre
The MCF Foundation is collaborating with the Palma-Palmilla district’s charity challenge, taking place on the last day of 2017.
Bidding farewell to the year with the fun San Silvestre Palma-Palmilla Charity Race is becoming a tradition. Now in its seventh year, this charismatic challenge will kick off in calle Mark Twain (next to La Rosaleda stadium) at 10:00 on Sunday 31st December. This year there will be two races; one of 2km and another of 10km for people of different athletic ability.
It’s common to see the runners dressing up in costumes, masks and a long list of accessories that bring a very colourful, cheerful appearance to the race. The most original costumes will be rewarded at the end, and the runner with the best ‘Malaguista look’ will receive a surprise gift from the Club, presented by the Foundation.
As this is a charity event, your €5 registration fee will be donated to the Asociación Club Deportivo 26 de Febrero and the Asociación de Integración de la Comunidad Gitana Palma-Palmilla. In addition, there will also be a collection of clothing and food.
The deadline to take part closes tomorrow, 28th December at 14:00. Click the following link to sign up:
