Following a beautiful opening ceremony yesterday afternoon, the tournament is now underway at La Rosaleda for the Málaga Phase of LaLiga Genuine Santander.
From 09:00 the Martiricos stands experienced a magical atmosphere with the various scheduled matches, culminating in the debut of Málaga Genuine in this second phase of the tournament organised by the La Liga Foundation, in collaboration with the MCF Foundation.
The first of the three games for the Malaguista squad was against Sevilla FC, which started at 12:00. The stands were Blue and White, featuring the Supercapacitad@s School players not called-up for this match, accompanied by family and friends of Genuine football from all over the country.
Fair Play was present throughout, with the match ending in a 1-2 win for Sevilla FC. The Malaguista goal was scored by Cristóbal, who headed in a throw-in from the left executed by Carlos Hierro.
At full-time, both teams enjoyed a precious moment of friendship with the fans gathered at La Rosaleda.
The Malaguista team returned to their concentration hotel to have lunch and rest before the next match, taking place this Saturday afternoon at La Rosaleda, at 18:00 against Elche CF.
