“We were determined to change this dynamic, score points at home with our fans and with the new coach. The team felt comfortable, despite the final minutes, and the important things are the three points. That said, we cannot relax,” he started out by saying.
In regard to Lugo’s late goals, “we were 3-0 up and we relaxed a bit. We can’t do that in this division. Nevertheless, we won at home and now the focus is on Oviedo,” he added.
Luis trusts in his teammates to adopt a positive dynamic. “We always convey confidence and security in the dressing room. By getting two or three victories we’ll move forward and then we can fight for things. Giving up is not an option, the important thing was to win and break the bad run,” he remarked.
“Mel gave us peace of mind. Working like this we’ll enjoy many victories,” said the number ‘8’ in relation to the coach. On a personal note, “what is most difficult is to regain the pace of play after the injury. I feel better all the time, I’m training more, and the sensations are better. I work every day to improve and return to my previous version,” he said.
