“The workload we’re carrying is very high. We’re in the middle of an extremely demanding pre-season and it shows on the pitch. I think the sensation of the last two matches is good, particularly today against a team like Valladolid, who had a great season last year. We must follow this line and keep improving. Today we didn’t make the most of the opportunities we had, but on the whole, we should be happy”.

Order and solidity

“I think it’s the hallmark we want for this Málaga. A well-ordered, solid team, capable of generating occasions. Today we created opportunities to score two or three goals. It’s the pre-season and there’s still a long way to go yet until the league gets underway. From here until the start of the competition we hope to continue fine-tuning, improving and for the new players to continue integrating as well as they have been doing”.

“Since I arrived here I’ve always felt very supported by the fans. I’ve had some wonderful moments and some very delicate moments, and the fans have always been there. They show their support every day, with the number of season ticket holders we have, and also today, watching a match in July in this heat, the ground was full. It’s a sign of how great Málaga is”.
