Harper: “The homegrown players are full of enthusiasm”

Reserve team striker Jack Harper attended to the media in the mixed zone following the draw with #MálagaValladolid: “We’ve all got good feelings”.

Work

“Personally, I felt great. It’s what we work towards all year in the reserve team. Training to the max so that when we get here, the difference isn’t so much”.

Demanding

“The pre-season is very tough and highly demanding. The matches are like another training session and we’ve all got good feelings”.

Opportunity

“I’m giving everything. Like me, there are other lads from the reserve team who would also make the most of it. I’m very happy with how I’m doing”.

Enthusiasm

“We’re hungry. Many of the young guys are ready to make the move up. Every time you can tell we’re full of enthusiasm”.

Organised

“Every day we train to the guidelines the coach wants for the team, and we’re understanding well. Little by little the team is becoming more organised. It’s going to be a good season”.

Muñiz

“The coach treats us all equally, which is good. He speaks to the young players the same as he does the veterans. He tells me to keep working hard, that’s the way forward. Also, to make the most of goal opportunities I have, and keep doing what I’m doing well”.

Dream

“I’m from Málaga, although you wouldn’t think so. Playing at La Rosaleda and scoring a goal would be amazing. A dream come true”.
