It’s so nice to look at the stands and see you again. This Monday we’ll be back together for an official match. Tickets are available from this Wednesday.
Seventeen months. 526 days. An eternity. It seems a century ago since that 8th March 2020. Without realising it, 22,211 Malaguistas in the stands were watching the last match at La Rosaleda before the State of Alarm came into effect due to COVID-19. This Monday, at long last, the temple will gradually return to normality, whilst of course adhering to the safety measures.
A few weeks ago, we invited six families of Loyal Malaguistas to step into their stadium again, with the intention of seeing their reactions first-hand. Pepi, accompanied by her husband, son and granddaughter touched us with her first impression of returning to the Blue and White temple after more than a year and a half. Juan, who was also in attendance with his two children, described the immense pride he felt in sharing such a beautiful moment with his family. Over the next few days, we’ll find out more about their stories, which we’re sure are very similar to yours.
Now it’s your turn. You’re coming home. We don’t know if it’ll be the same seat, but what is certain is that you’ll get those indescribable goosebumps, just like the first time.
The Club isn’t planning to put season tickets on sale until it can guarantee the existing demand, which will depend on the health regulations imposed by the administrations. At this time, due to the social distancing requirements and the percentage of permitted capacity (around 25% due to the size of the stands), we cannot say for certain that you’ll return to your seat. Meanwhile, as a Loyal Malaguista, you have priority in purchasing your tickets during the first 48 hours of sale. After this time, if there are tickets remaining, they will be made available to the rest of the fans.
You can purchase a maximum of two tickets and no certificate will be required to enter the stadium. Fans must wear an FFP2 mask and not bring any items to cheer on the team in the stands (LaLiga rules).
We remind you that La Rosaleda’s bars and cloakroom will remain closed. In addition, no members of Club staff are permitted to look after fans’ belongings. The access regulations regarding objects will remain the same as in previous seasons. Internal movement within the stadium will also be limited to the bare minimum.
We’re counting the final days, hours and seconds until we see you again. We can’t carry on without you by our side. We need you Giving Your All!
