Argentine ingenuity for the wing with Cufré

Málaga CF reinforces the left wing with Braian Cufré, an Argentinean player from RCD Mallorca. His contract, on loan without an option to buy, covers the 21/22 season.

Braian Ezequiel Cufré (Mar del Plata, Argentina, 1996), following the departure of homegrown player Cristo to Real Sociedad’s reserve team, completes the position of left-back for the Málaga 21/22 project, together with the first new face of the season, Javi Jiménez.

The new Blue and White player trained in the youth ranks of the prestigious Club Atlético Vélez Sarsfield in Argentina. Between 2015 and 2020 he was a member of the Buenos Aires-based first team in the Liniers neighbourhood.

During the 20/21 season Cufré made the leap to Spanish football signing to RCD Mallorca. He took part in the team’s brilliant rise to LaLiga Santander playing 29 games in LaLiga SmartBank. He also played two Copa del Rey matches to total 31 with RCD Mallorca.

His profile, strong on the attack, young, resourceful and competitive, fits perfectly with #GivingOurAll. Welcome to Málaga Club de Fútbol, Braian!
