Málaga CF trained this Thursday between 10.30 a.m and 12.15 p.m in the Ciudad de Málaga stadium. It was a session comprised of the usual technical ball work and mini-matches on a reduced pitch.
The nine players (Demichelis, Malagueño, Eliseu, Joaquín, Portillo, Camacho, Maresca, Buonanotte and Duda) who played yesterday against Spartak Moscow had a lighter session of stretches alongside the auxiliary coach, Enrique Ruiz. Kameni together with Willy and the reserve, Pol, trained with the goalkeeping coach, Xabi Mancisidor. And Gámez, who is suffering from an injury in his right quadriceps, traned at a lower pace as he is awaiting results from some medical tests.
Juanmi got back to work at a normal level after three days’ training with Spain’s Under 19s and Van Nistelrooy did more tailor-made programmes separate from the group. Isco and Toulalan were both in the gym as they get over a bout of a viral infection. Rosario and Rubén jogged, whilst Baptista intensified his anti-gravity regime which allows him to lose body fat and run faster.
Like yesterday, the session was marked by the presence of a number of players from the Blue and Whites youth teams, including Samu, Adri, Aguza, Alexis and Castillejo.
Tomorrow, Friday, at 10.30 a.m, MCF will return to train at the Ciudad de Málaga stadium.
