Textbook Yanis

Clean sheet
Pellicer has done something that, in the beginning, was very tough - having two goalkeepers raring to go and performing well, Dani Barrio and Juan Soriano. Málaga have accumulated two consecutive wins, both with a clean sheet. In total, there have been 11 games without conceding a goal. It’s not just a question of Dani and Juan, but the strong defence trio made up of Juande, Mejías and Escassi, the latter standing out as a true anchor in defence.

Loren’s debut
The young 18-year-old striker who started out with the Benjamines in The Academy played his first minutes with the first team in an official match. He is the first player whose father, Loren Zúñiga, also played for Málaga CF. Loren is player number 388 to wear the MCF jersey, whilst his dad was number 58 to do so.
