La Rosaleda is a special stadium. Nobody who has watched a match from the stands would deny it. The atmosphere that Malaguismo generates is magical. With family, friends, as a couple or individually, the fans become one and play a crucial role in matches. Together they are an impressive force.
On that day last year, 8th March, La Rosaleda looked amazing. We had one of the best crowds of the year, with barely any empty seats. Even though there wasn’t a capacity crowd, it was as if there was no room for another soul. The team didn’t score any points, but the fans didn’t stop cheering them on. Every approach, every corner led to an explosion of cheers for the 11 Blue and White players.
Without knowing it, we gave La Rosaleda the perfect send-off. Although the match ended in a bitter defeat in minute 86 – when it hurts the most – the intensity of the crowd never diminished. We haven’t seen each other since that great day, but it won’t be the last time. We need you all to take good care of yourselves so we can count on all of you.
