Interview

Kellyan and Juande, face to face

Both homegrown players talk to MCFTV about the team’s eagerness and energy ahead of the resumption of the competition: “We’re like children waiting to be able to step on to the pitch at La Rosaleda again”.

Eagerness and motivation to play again

Juande

“We can’t wait to start and compete against the other teams. We’re looking forward to the competition getting underway and giving our all to get as high up the table as possible”.

Kellyan

“We cannot wait. I can’t describe it better. Looking forward to everything getting closer all the time. We’re training with more energy and more accuracy in each session. You can see it in our eyes that we can’t wait”.

A different competition

Juande

“It’s not about nerves, we’re all staying calm, and little by little the sensations are improving”.

Kellyan

“We’re just talking about what the upcoming matches will be like, without the fans being there. It’s a new experience that we’ll all live together. We’re like children waiting to be able to step on to the pitch at La Rosaleda again”.

Responsibility and the fans’ support

Juande

“We’re being extremely careful. We need to be very responsible as the competition is getting nearer and we need to set an example for everyone. The most important thing is health. We’re being so careful, we barely go out. It’s important to be responsible and, when training and playing, give our all”.

Kellyan

“We’re receiving a lot of affection and positive messages all the time. The fact our fans send us these messages and encouragement, and then having the chance to defend them by being here at La Rosaleda is an extra incentive to fight”.
