Juanpe reinforces the Blue and White midfield
The midfielder from Jerez arrives on a free transfer from CD Lugo to bring his experience and versatility to midfield. The player signs for three seasons, extendable to two more.
Juan Pedro Jiménez Melero (Jerez de la Frontera, 03/31/1996) is an all-round midfielder who can play in various midfield profiles.
At 27 years old, Juanpe has accumulated nearly 150 matches between the national silver and bronze categories. He started out at Cádiz CF Mirandilla and Sevilla Atlético, making his debut with the Cádiz first team in the 16/17 campaign in the Second Division.
Following his prominent role with both reserve teams, he made the jump to professional football with CD Lugo. At the Anxo Carro he became an important part of the team, playing 89 games (5 goals) in his three seasons with the Lugo team.
The arrival of the midfielder marks the second addition to Málaga CF, after the arrival of striker Dioni, ahead of the 23/24 season.
