Inauguration of new ‘Peña Malaguista’ in Cártama

Blue and Whites fans now have a new meeting place to celebrate their team. The ‘Peña Malaguista’ in Cártama was inaugurated on Thursday 19th April, by Málaga Club de Fútbol advisor, Francisco Martín Aguilar, and first team player Recio.

Amongst the residents that attended the inauguration, were Cártama mayor, Jorge Gallardo, and the president of the ‘peña’, Juan Diego Vargas.  They both showed their delight in the opening of this association, which now has 100 members.

Miguel Molina, president of the ‘Peñas Malaguistas’ Federation, also attended this event, who as well as Martín Aguilar, spoke of the “increase in the wave of Málaga supporters in inland areas of the province”, and of the wish to continue the involvement “in this, and all current and future ‘peñas’” says Martín Aguilar.

Recio signed autographs and took photos with fans, and gave his thanks to the Málaga fans for their support “in every match at La Rosaleda”, and how their “love and warmth” is felt all over the province.

The new ‘Peña Malaguista’ is situated on Calle Rey Juan Carlos I, number 73, in Cártama.
