Van Nistelrooy took part in ‘Mucho más que Fútbol’ workshop
The Málaga Club de Fútbol forward visited the Alhaurín de la Torre prison to take part in the ‘Mucho más que Fútbol’ workshop which aims to encourage ethical and social values to young inmates through the playing of football.
By participating in this the third workshop of its kind, he joins other famous personalities including national manager, Vicente del Bosque; the singer David de María; Málaga CF’s General Manager, Fernando hierro; the choreographer, Rafa Méndez; the actor, David Castillo; footballer, Sergio Ramos; as well as Malaguistas, Joaquín Sánchez, Enzo maresca and Seba Fernández.
The promising young tennis player Leandro Serrano accompanied Ruud van Nistelrooy during his visit of the Málaga-based prison. The workshop, whose previous sessions have taken place in the Madrid III prison in Valdemoro, is led by Málaga Club de Fútbol’s Sporting Director, Antonio Fernández, and is supported by Málaga Club de Fútbol’s Foundation.
