(Personal situation): “I’m feeling great, I’ve been alternating with Jesús Gámez, and physically I’m feeling good, working as hard as I can each week, so I’m at full fitness when the coach needs me to help the team”.
(Osasuna): “An important week in the final stages of the League. We know it’ll be a difficult match, especially in a stadium like the Reyno de Navarra, where we need to come away with the three points, to keep on track with our objectives”.
“They play very good football, and have clear ideas. The coach has been working with us all week on their strengths. We know we have to maintain our concentration throughout the match, as well as our second line of defence, which will be a determining factor”.
“They always have great ball control in the air, as well as us. We need to maintain our strength and focus, and concentrate on scoring goals and bringing three points home”.
(Depending on their results): “It’s so important, as our future depends on us. Once it’s out of our hands, we have to see how the other teams perform, and wait for their results. We’ve reached this stage in the competition just being able to depend on ourselves, and determine where we finish in the League, which we hope will be as high up the table as possible”.
(Monday’s match): “The team just needs to focus 100% on the match, and we all need to be mentally as well as physically prepared. We’ll go out there and give it 200%, with our batteries fully charged”.
