Horta and Ontiveros attend 5th Anniversary of Peña Malaguista de Mollina

Blue and Whites’ players, Ricardo Horta and Javi Ontiveros headed up the Club’s representation at the 5th Anniversary of Peña Malaguista de Mollina.

Málaga Club de Fútbol was present at the event celebrating the first five years of the Peña Malaguista de Mollina. As well as players, Horta and Ontiveros, Club adviser, Francisco Martín Aguilar was also present, along with Sebastián Fernández Reyes ‘Basti’ from the MCF Foundation’s Social Department.  President of the Federation of Peñas Malaguistas, Miguel Molina was in attendance as well, accompanied by the president of the supporters’ club itself, José Manuel Velasco.  Mayor of the Málaga town, Eugenio Sevillano was present, along with members of the Blue and Whites’ peñas from Alameda, Almargen and Archidona.

The headquarters of the supporters’ club, located in the beautiful setting of ‘Las Viñas’ (carretera Mollina-Alameda) witnessed the lovely event in which some fifty members of the peña attended, along with numerous children who were entertained by Horta and Onitveros, who didn’t stop signing posters, shirts and taking photos.  At the end of the celebrations, the Club and Peña exchanged gifts, with local artist, José Antonio Romero ‘Kurt’ having designed sculptures based on one of the most prominent attractions of Mollina: the local wine.  The Club gave a signed poster and commemorative Blue and Whites’ shirt, just before a banquet to end the celebrations.

Paco Martín Aguilar: “Thank you to the peña for all the work you do representing the Club.  I hope you continue to support Málaga, and Mollina, along with basketball players, support the many ‘Mollinatos’ within Málaga’s youth academy.”

Basti: “Thank you all, and the members of the peñas from Almargen, Alameda and Archidona for attending this wonderful event.  I hope the Mollina peña is here for many years to come, we are very proud of you.”

Horta (MCFTV): “It’s great to see people away from La Rosaleda who are such avid fans of the Club.  I am very happy to be here with them.  The people are such Malaguistas, and I hope this will be a good year for us all and everyone from Mollina.”
