The pre-match session consisted of an initial video session and ball work on the pitch at the annexe ground.  All available members of the first team were in action, including reserve team players, Pablo and Ontiveros, as well as goalkeepers, Kameni, Ochoa and reserve keeper, Aarón.  Atsu, Chory and Juankar, who are continuing with the recovery of their respective injuries, were the only absentees from today’s group session.

Later today at 5:15 p.m., the Malaguista squad will head to Castellón for the Villarreal-Malaga match (Saturday, 6:15 p.m.)  The non-called-up players will be in training tomorrow, Saturday from 10:30 a.m. at the Ciudad de Málaga stadium.
