Málaga Club de Fútbol continues to look to the past to strengthen the present and build the future. With the collaboration of NIKE, they have reedited the third kit of the 2015/16 season, which is historical. This relation with the Club’s history will make it, without doubt, a very precious product for the ‘Malaguista’ supporters, which will be made available today in all official stores, as well as online www.tiendamalagacf.com.
First look
Málaga will wear the new third kit for the first time in tomorrow, Saturday’s match at El Madrigal stadium (Villarreal), kicking off at 6:15 p.m. The launch of the new strip coincides with the anniversary of the first match played at La Rosaleda 75 years ago.
Historical shirt
The idea behind the design of this strip, which is this season’s third kit, had its origin in a historical event, as it was the kit worn by Club Deportivo Malacitano at the end of the 1930s, and furthermore, which was debuted somewhat hastily at La Rosaleda on 13th April 1941, after flooding on the pitch at Baños del Carmen.
The feeling never dies
The historical ‘Malaguista’ strip designed by NIKE is a clear nod to Málaga football. The white shirt has thin vertical lines on the front, and the shield is embroidered in black. On the back of the shirt at the top is the slogan “El sentimiento nunca muere” (“The feeling never dies”), with the green and purple colours of the province’s shield. The player number on the back, purple in colour, includes a watermark of the Málaga shield.

From today, Friday, Málaga Club de Fútbol’s third kit will be on sale at all Official Stores (La Rosaleda stadium, Fuengirola, Torre del Mar, CC Vialia, CC Larios and CC Rincón de la Victoria) priced at €49 for adults and €40 for children.
