Jack Harper made his official first team debut in Lugo. “We showed there were young lads who were ready to make the leap, and that’s what happened”, said the Blue and Whites’ homegrown player to the media.
“I’m delighted, it’s something I’ve wanted to do since I came here, to be able to play and help the first team”.
“The coach told us that in the Second Division matches aren’t won or lost in the first minute. Their goal spurred us on, we knew we’d have opportunities to turn the result around, which is what we did”.
“The reserve team had a good season last season, we showed there were young lads who were ready to make the leap, and that’s what happened. Hicham brought verticality, and on my part, when I play I give all I’ve got”.
“Seeing the strikers who are arriving makes you try harder. Competition is always healthy, and we’ll do our best to earn a place. I want to score goals but I’m far happier with the team’s victory”.
