The Peña Malaguistas del Guadalhorce ‘Juanmi’ and Peñas Malaguistas Federation organised the tournament, with the collaboration of the Coín Town Hall, and the notable presence of the Delegate for Sport and Youth in Málaga’s Provincial Government, Cristóbal Ortega, and Mayor of Coín, Fernando Fernández.  Members of Blue and Whites’ supporters’ clubs from all over the province took part, as well as Málaga CF employees, sports journalists and veteran players from Coín, divided into two groups:

Group 1: PM Guadalhorce Juanmi, MCF employees, PM Conejito Torrox and Ath. Coín Veterans. Group 2: PM Frente Comepipas, Sports Press Association, PM Los Lunes and PM San Pedro.

Following the first phase, the Peña Malaguistas del Guadalhorce ‘Juanmi’ and the Athletic de Coín Veterans won their semi-finals against Frente Comepipas and the Sports Press Association team respectively. In the final (3-3) draw, the Peña Malaguistas del Guadalhorce ‘Juanmi’ won on penalties by 4-3.

At the end of the tournament, with former Malaguista player, Juanmi Jiménez in attendance, the participants and guests enjoyed a meal to end a wonderful day, with one common denominator: malaguismo.
