Atlético Malagueño
Good start to the season for Malagueño (0-4)

The Blue and White reserve team kicked off the Third Division Group IX competition with a big away win against Alhaurín de la Torre CF. Goals from Julio, Antoñín and Rafa Camacho (x2) gave Pellicer’s team the first three points of the season.

Atlético Malagueño defeated Alhaurín de la Torre CF on matchday 1 of Third Division Group IX (0-4). Despite the match remaining fairly even in the initial stages, the Blue and Whites (wearing pink on this occasion) ended up dominating the duel with authority.

After several exchanges, Malaguista Julio was in charge of opening the scoring in 23’ with great definition that the rival keeper was unable to prevent (0-1). With barely any time for the opponent to react, two minutes later Rafa Camacho scored the second goal for the reserve team after converting a pass from Juan Cruz (0-2).

The locals sought to increase their presence around Gonzalo’s area, but without success. Pellicer’s boys controlled the pace of play and, in 41’, again Rafa Camacho scored the third goal of the game and his second. The striker entered the area like lightning and, just at the moment of definition, stopped to send the ball to the back of the net with a subtle touch that outwitted the goalkeeper. At half-time the score was 0-3.

In the second half the tone of the match was the same. Malagueño dominated possession and marked the tempo of the game. Antoñín scored the fourth goal a few minutes after the second half got underway, 50’. With superb definition following a good personal display, the number ‘9’ made it 0-4 on the scoreboard, which was the definitive, final result.
