Aleix commented that the team was “so eager to start the competition,” although he affirmed that “it wasn’t the start we hoped for. Particularly in the second half, they overwhelmed us. We need to improve many things,” the player insisted.
When asked about these improvements, Febas highlighted “the aerial duels, they beat us in each one, also in the second plays. We suffered a lot on the counter-attacks.” However, the team generated options to score their first goal of the season, which would have meant taking the lead or a tie. “We had the chance to score a goal. The Burgos keeper was very good,” he added.
Following the excitement generated amongst the Malaguistas over the summer pre-season, Aleix advocates going “little by little. A little of this is good for us, a sense of humility in the face of what is being talked about,” he said. During such a long and demanding competition, Febas is committed to “scoring points match after match” to achieve the objectives. “Let’s see when we reach 50 points.”
