Hervías and Villalba feature on return to training

Back to work for Málaga CF this Wednesday morning at La Rosaleda’s Annexe. The latest two signings, Pablo Hervías and Fran Villalba underwent their first training session with the team.

After returning to Málaga on Monday and having a day off yesterday, the team returned to training today in the first of this week’s sessions. A half-hour video viewing and team talk took place first, before moving on to the Annexe pitch to alternate between physical exercise and work with the ball for over two and a half hours.

The main addition today was new signings Hervías and Fran Villalba within the group dynamic. Pablo Chavarría gradually re-joined the team, as well as reserve team goalkeeper Carlos López, who has recovered from a left ankle sprain he had a few days ago.

Outside the group undergoing recovery training, pending evolution, were Fran Sol (right ankle sprain) and homegrown player Andrés Caro (left patellar tendinopathy).

Tomorrow, Thursday and the rest of the week, the team will be in training at the same time (09:30) at La Rosaleda to continue preparations for the first home game of the season, next Monday at 22:00 against UD Las Palmas.
