Before the start of the press conference, sporting director Loren Juarros shared his thoughts on the continued presence of both players at the Club: “Welcome to Málaga’s first team. Thank you for your commitment, you’ve reached the place every Academy player aspires to. You’ve earned it yourselves. This is a door opening, it’s not the end of anything, but the beginning of everything. I hope it’s the start of a long career in professional football. You still have a lot of growing and improving to do, here, and for as long as possible. May both you and Málaga grow together. We’re here to help you. The foundation of this project is players like you. Before we look outside, we’ll look within. Everything takes time and a process, but with players like you, Málaga will get to where it needs to be.”
