Manu Molina ends his contract with Málaga CF. The Club thanks the midfielder from Huelva for his dedication and professionalism, a key figure in the team's promotion to the Second Division during the 2023/24 season.
Manuel Antonio Molina Valero (born 20/11/1991 in Huelva) joined Málaga CF for the 2023/24 season from Real Zaragoza. Brought in to lend his quality and experience to a squad facing a demanding campaign, Manu became a pivotal figure in what turned out to be a historic year for the Club.
Over his time at Málaga CF, Manu made 73 appearances across multiple competitions: Second Division (38), Primera RFEF (28), the Second Division promotion playoffs (4), and the Copa del Rey (3). He contributed one goal and eight assists. As a midfield anchor and a set-piece specialist, Manu was instrumental in leading the team back to professional football, helping secure promotion to the Second Division in the 2023/24 season.
Manu departs La Rosaleda having left a significant mark on the pitch. However, his personal impact will be remembered just as fondly. Known for his close connection with the fans and his role in fostering a positive atmosphere within the squad, he was a key figure both on and off the field in the Club’s recent successes.
