Deportivo – Málaga CF on Wednesday 3rd December at 8 p.m.

Málaga Club de Fútbol is away to Deportivo de la Coruña at the Riazor stadium for the first leg of the knockout stage of the Copa del Rey on Wednesday 3rd December at 8 p.m.

The only time the ‘Malaguistas’ and ‘Deportivistas’ have clashed in the Copa del Rey was in 1999/2000.  In the first leg the Galician-based side won 1-0, whilst in the return leg Málaga CF defeated Deportivo by 2-1, although they were eliminated due to the rival having double the amount of away goals.

The time of the return leg match is yet to be announced by the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), although it is taking place on Wednesday 17th December.
