Dely Valdés joins the MCF Academy

The former Blue and Whites’ player returns to the Club to coach the Juvenil División de Honor team in the Malaguista youth ranks.

Julio César Dely Valdés (Colón – Panama, 12th March 1967) was part of Málaga CF’s first team over three seasons, between 2000 and 2003, during which he became the Blue and Whites’ highest goal-scorer in the First Division, with 38 goals.

The former striker returns to the Club as an MCF Academy coach. Dely Valdés will head up the Juvenil A de División de Honor squad, current Champions of Spain in their category, who participated in the UEFA Youth League this season.

Dely, following his time as a player at the Club, already worked within the organisation as second coach to Antonio Tapia’s first team in 2008/09, and later with Juan Ramón Muñiz in 2009/10.
