Luis Muñoz takes a journey back to his childhood

The Málaga CF central defender visited his former school, CEIP Ramón Simonet within the ‘Blue and Whites’ Values’ campaign. He was welcomed to rapturous applause from the excited young fans.

Almost a decade after he left, Luis Muñoz returned to his school to take part in a very special class of ‘Blue and Whites’ Values’, alongside the MCF Foundation. The player greeted his former teachers, took photos with the students and stepped on to the former sports ground where he first started playing football. His younger sister, who studies at the same school, greatly enjoyed Luis Muñoz’s visit.

With a smile from ear to ear, the Blue and Whites’ central defender answered the pupils’ questions, and highlighted the importance of values in sport: “It’s an honour to come to my school representing Málaga. My little sister is also studying here. I didn’t expect such a wonderful welcome. I’m delighted. My advice to them is to ensure they eat healthily, and get along with everyone. They must give their all and always set goals to achieve”.

Málaga CF femenino coach, Raúl Iznata was in charge of giving the #BlueandWhitesValues talk to the students, accompanied by Sebastián Fernández Reyes ‘Basti from the Foundation’s Social Department, and women’s team goalkeeper, Chelsea Louis Ashurst.
