Dani Lorenzo: “The team is capable of turning it around”
The Malaguista midfielder spoke after the defeat against Burgos CF. “We’re upset about the loss; now it’s time to lift our heads and face the upcoming matches with maximum confidence,” he said.
Defeat decided by details
“We leave with a bitter feeling because we came here eager to make up for the last home match. We started with that early goal, and it’s true that we weren’t good on the set piece or on the second goal, from that cross into the box. Those small details killed us. Now we have to keep going, this is a long season and we’re only on matchday 7. The team is capable of turning it around, for sure.”
Role in midfield
“I feel good. I’ve played in that position in previous years, and I feel comfortable. I’m in frequent contact with the ball, and I feel good because I keep growing as the minutes go by. I can adapt well to that position, and anything that helps the team is perfect.”
Competitiveness of the league
“In this league, any rival is tough. For better or worse, you can beat anyone, and anyone can beat you. We’re upset about the loss, but now it’s time to lift our heads and face the upcoming matches with maximum confidence.”
