David Larrubia Romano (Málaga, 2002) is one of the greatest exponents of the Blue and White youth ranks. Trained at the MCF Academy, the left-footed attacker, born in the popular neighbourhood of La Luz, has climbed every step of the youth system until consolidating himself in the first team.
Since his professional debut five years ago, including a loan spell at Mérida (22/23) that was key to his personal and footballing growth, David has been an example of perseverance and talent. The Malaguista number 10, now approaching one hundred official appearances with MCF, has earned the respect of his teammates, the trust of the coaching staff, and the affection of a fanbase that has watched him grow both on and off the pitch.
His love for the colours and commitment to the Club go beyond football: he embodies the values of effort, humility, and dedication that define Málaga CF. At 23 years of age, the Spanish youth international wants to keep growing at home, both individually and collectively.
With this renewal, Málaga Club de Fútbol secures the continuity of a player in full development with both present and future, strengthening the emotional bond with a fanbase that sees Larrubia as one of their own, someone who has carried the crest in his heart since childhood.
Málaga CF thanks David Larrubia for the trust he has placed in the Blue and White project, with the hope of sharing many years of successes and achieved sporting goals.
Congratulations, David!
