Cufré: “We’re leaving here a little bit annoyed”

The Malaguista left-back appeared in the mixed zone following #LasPalmasMálaga: “The team kept insisting until the end and we came so close to winning a point which would have been very important,” he said.

Braian Cufré spoke to MCFTV in the mixed zone at the Gran Canaria Stadium.

“We're leaving here a little bit annoyed. The first half was a bit of a struggle and in the second we were a little better than Las Palmas. We had our chances and they also had theirs. We felt the superior side as we piled the pressure on. It’s tough when you’re trailing 2-0, but the team kept insisting until the end and we came so close to winning a point which would have been very important,” he said.

The Malaguista added that the team’s reaction was “very good” as “it’s something that used to be very hard for us. The team gave their all for 90 minutes, which is what we must continue to do,” he stated.

Cufré acknowledges that “this is the way forward, the team did well, particularly in the second half. Now we have to think about Oviedo, which is also going to be a difficult match at home,” he concluded.
